Born with a natural talent in entrepreneurship, Haroldo Jacobovicz has combined this inborn talent with his passion for the information technology world. Professionally, he is a holder of a degree in civil engineering that took him four and half years to accomplish at the Federal University of Parana.

Though it was his will to take the course, he didn’t have an inner passion for it though before he thought he had. His parents’ innovative work and their valuable contribution to the development of his country, Brazil, inspired him to take civil engineering, for he thought he could only create value in society if he became a civil engineer.

Not long before his graduation, Haroldo Jacobovicz realized he could use his stronger passion for emerging information technology to create more excellent value and maximize his talent in coming up with new things from scratch. So, he watered this IT thirst by starting a company with three of his pals who were a bit informed in the IT arena. Microsystem was that company and Haroldo’s first venture. The company’s mission was to help make things easier for an average entrepreneur.

With this in mind, they came up with a solutions system to help micro ventures automate their cash and inventory management system. On the bad side, the company did not make it past one year since their target market was not ready to automate since they didn’t see much of its advantage. The happy side of this venture is that he learned that such a system could help large enterprises by far, and their willingness to automate their operations wouldn’t be compromised by anything.

With this in mind, after Haroldo Jacobovicz his executive job at Exxon Mobil, he set the target market for the IT products of his companies, e-Governe Group, Horizons Telecom, and Horizons Datacenter, as large enterprises, both private and public. By combining passion, talent, and excellent strategies, Haroldo Jacobovicz has taken the firm from scratch to becoming a prominent telecommunications provider nationwide.
